Council Profile:
Rotherham is a stock holding Local Authority with just over 20,000 homes. It has recently expanded to provide affordable rent, shared ownership and some homes for sale in order to meet local housing pressures. An ambitious three-year pipeline programme of new homes is in place.
Our homelessness, investment, income and housing management services also perform well. Council-wide activities are joined up through the Rotherham Together Partnership, which oversees partner activity around health and wellbeing, community safety, children and adult safeguarding, and deprivation.
