ARK is an award-winning housing consultancy practice established in 1990 and working across the UK. We have offices in London, Birmingham and Scotland. Our team comprises some 80 housing professionals with skills and knowledge covering all housing functions.
ARK’s clients include over 500 landlords and registered providers, local authorities (housing, planning and social services), developers, support and care providers, charities, contractors and a range of other statutory and voluntary agencies. We have also carried out high profile research assignments for clients including the National Housing Federation, Homes England, GLA, regional and sub-regional partnerships and local authorities.
As an affordable housing consultancy, we understand the sector and its drivers from the inside and offer a wide range of asset management, development, regeneration and performance improvement support and advisory services to Social Housing landlords, who own and manage from a few hundred to tens of thousands of homes.
Providing consultancy, operational, interim support and outsourced services to our diverse client base, our comprehensive service offering can be broadly classified under the four headings of: Property, People, Performance, Progression.
We recognise that that service quality is not just about bricks and mortar. As well as providing recruitment and HR services, through the ARK Academy, we deliver innovative training programmes to encourage staff wellbeing, drive high performance, and equip individuals to lead, motivate and contribute to enhanced business performance.
We are ambassadors for collaborative working. As managing agents for “CHIC”, a 70+ strong group of housing associations, councils and ALMO’s, we exchange best practice and undertake EU compliant procurement on their behalf to obtain greater efficiency in procurement and delivery. The CHIC framework has five frameworks including legal services, compliance, planned investment, responsive maintenance and off site manufacture.
Why The Company Joined The Housing Forum:
We believe our involvement with the forum will enable us to enhance our contribution to housing development and regeneration whilst at the same time building our profile in the sector through networking, taking part in the discussions and events and in the future by hosting and supporting events.
We also see the Forum as providing a solid learning platform for our people at all stages in their career. The Forum will provide us with an opportunity to remain abreast with current thinking, explore new innovations and to draw upon this for the benefit of our business, our clients and their customers.
