Council Profile:

Brent London Borough Council is the local authority for the London Borough of Brent in Greater London, England. It is a London borough council, one of 32 in the United Kingdom capital of London. Brent is widely known as the most diverse borough in London and one of the most diverse boroughs in the UK as a whole.

As a Local Authority, we are responsible for providing essential public services to the residents of Brent. This includes the provision of social housing and as such, we are landlords to c.8,000 tenants and c.4,000 leaseholders. We recognize the importance of truly affordable housing to our residents, hence we have an ambitious target to deliver 5,000 truly affordable homes in our borough between 2019 and 2024 1,000 of which will be delivered directly by the Council. We are well on our way to delivering this target.
