The Forum focused on collective responses to the significant changes heralded by the Building Safety Act in terms of regulation, construction, maintenance, safety and protection.
The views of the Forum were:
Viability issues continue to be the major concern on future schemes with Building Safety Act Gateways 2 and 3 due on 1 October, 2023. Embarking on this new way of working and also improving the existing stock and raising energy efficiency means that we need clear guidance from the regulator.
