We’ve partnered with SEC (South East Consortium) for their Development PM (afternoon 1-5.30pm) in person event to be held on Tuesday 21 September at The Building Centre, 26 Store St, London WC1E 7BT.

These are in person knowledge-sharing events with industry experts focused on supporting housing development programmes.

**The afternoon is free to Members of The Housing Forum, and to Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Delegates from additional commercial organisations are also welcome – tickets cost £40 + VAT.**

The Housing Forum is running a panel session during the event with a cross industry approach from our members to “Innovation led routes to housing”. Themes to be covered include:

  • Innovative forms of partnerships with communities, housing associations and developers working with community land trusts, co-housing projects and cooperatives
  • Adding value in housebuilding and construction
  • How innovation in housebuilding and renovation works – taking a building led approach

This will be from 15.30-16.30, timings below:

  • 15.30 -15.35 Brief Introductions by Chair: Shelagh Grant, Chief Executive, The Housing Forum, and panellists
  • 15.35-15.45 Tom Chance, Chief Executive, National Community Land Trust Network to cover innovative forms of partnerships with communities, housing associations and developers working with community land trusts, co-housing projects and cooperatives followed by brief Q&A
  • 15.50-16.00 Neill Tickle, Managing Director, Counties and Capital Consulting to cover adding value in housebuilding and construction through design and planning followed by brief Q&A
  • 16.05 -16.15 Tom Kerr, Sales Director, Langley Waterproofing Systems Ltd to cover Building for Energy Renewability and Sustainability – how the systems enable innovation in solar energy and reduced long term maintenance and reference case studies.

The event will conclude with a closing drinks reception which will run until 5.30pm.
