What’s the best delivery mechanism for councils to build housing?

Councils are increasingly interested in building new homes, especially council rented housing. A variety of different delivery mechanisms exist, each with different pros and cons. This conference will hear from those with experience of the different models on what worked for them and why. It will be of interest to councils looking to deliver housing and also to the wider sector working with local authorities in partnership, such as housebuilders and Registered Providers.

Speakers

-Dan Hawthorn, Executive Director of Housing, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
-Claire Flowers, Partnerships Director, Potter Raper
-Rachel Bagenal, London Borough of Hackney
-James Clark, Assistant Director of Housing, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council
-Danny Sutcliffe, Partner, Red Loft

There will also be small group networking and discussion sessions, to give delegates a chance to interact

The agenda is supported by our influential Local Councils Advisory Group drawn largely from our 75+ Councils Network.

Thank you to Bugler Group and Red Loft for sponsoring this event.
