This year the theme for National Inclusion week, which was created by Inclusive Employers is Take Action Make Impact.
The Housing Forum and members are most interested in how this action can take place within and across the UK Housing sector. Key topics in this vein will be explored in the lunchtime Spotlight series in collaboration with Trowers & Hamlins on 26th September: Recruitment and retention for housing organisations
The event will be chaired by Shelagh Grant, Chief Executive of The Housing Forum and Emma Burrows and Laura Welchew from Trowers & Hamlins, who will be presenting current thinking and actionable insights into:
- Managing intergenerational workforces
- Using positive action to promote a diverse and inclusive workforce
- How to attract older workers and harness their knowledge and experience
- Mental health and wellbeing
- The benefits of agile working
- Understanding neurodiversity and the benefits it can bring to your organisation
- Flexible benefits
- How to put in place a learning and development strategy.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the session, and we hope that this is the ideal way for our members to join together over a virtual lunch to extract high-value input to take back into the field for action.
