Simon Rawlinson, Head of Strategic Research and Insight, Arcadis has over 20 years in construction and built environment research and innovation, with a focus on construction markets, pricing behaviour and risk. He is also a well-known commentator and speaker in the construction industry and is a regular contributor to Building magazine and other publications.
Simon is going to address attendees on ‘Politics, People and Money’.
He intends to review current market challenges and opportunities through the lens of ‘People and Money’, a report that he co-authored.
The focus here will be the combination of development, housing management and investment skills that need to be assembled through a partnership model to deliver much-needed affordable housing. In terms of the money aspect, he will discuss finding alternatives to RP debt funding and will argue that a new generation of partnership ventures is needed to unlock sites and new sources of development capital.
