THF members Durkan, Clarion Housing Group and PRP are involved in the developmentt

Councillors have approved plans to build 160 new homes on the Eddington development in north-west Cambridge.

The joint venture between Durkan Homes and Latimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group, includes proposals for 89 flats and 71 houses. The firm of architects for the project is PRP, bringing the number of THF members involved in the project to three.

Bill Beyzade, Managing Director at Durkan Homes, said: “The decision to grant permission is great news. We are delighted to have secured an agreement with Latimer to deliver the Eddington project, and we’re looking forward to starting work on site this year.
