The topping out ceremony means 58 affordable homes in Stoke Hammond, Buckinghamshire, are another step closer to completion
Housing association Peabody and its partners The Hill Group held a topping out ceremony at the Honeybrooke development near Milton Keynes recently.
The scheme includes 43 houses and 15 apartments; 34 will be for affordable rent and 24 for shared ownership. The homes, which are being built on land purchased by Peabody in 2017, are expected to be completed early next year.
Attending the ceremony, Councillor David Venn of Stoke Hammond Parish Council said: “New residents can expect well-insulated, efficient homes that are cheaper to run and sustainable, in a fantastic location.”
