Emh is one of the largest providers of affordable homes in the East Midlands

The recent allocation of Wave 2.1 of the government’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund has seen £778m offered to 107 projects. Among the recipients were emh group.

Now, the East Midlands-based affordable homes provider has announced how its local residents will benefit from the more than £3.5m it received in funding.

This is the second time emh group has been awarded SHDF funding, with the previous Wave 1 award being used to improve 73 homes in Blaby.

Chan Kataria, Chief Executive at emh group, said:”We’re proud to have been awarded further funding from the SHDF, which will help us to bring the benefits of a more energy efficient homes to over 300 households and support our commitment to decarbonisation.”
