Company Profile:

Part of the Sanctuary Group, Sanctuary Maintenance has been providing a full range of asset services since 2009. Our provision is rooted in the requirements of our not-for-profit parent company Sanctuary Group, as part of which we have coordinated and delivered repairs, grounds maintenance, cleaning and statutory compliance services for 20 years. Alongside 73,000 units of domestic accommodation Sanctuary Maintenance provides services to the Group’s 82 care homes and 18 extra care facilities. This is in addition to a small portfolio of external clients.

Although Sanctuary Maintenance is a commercially focused organisation it is rooted in the social value of Sanctuary Group. Therefore our business practices are centred upon principles of value for money, ethical working and trust. This is reflected in everything we do; from our apprenticeship scheme, which not only provides opportunities for young people in the communities we work but also recruits and trains the talented future leaders of our business; to our support of a range of community initiatives.

Our core services streams have traditionally included a range of facilities management products, including:

  • Gas Operations
  • Property Consultancy, such as compliance services
  • Specialist customer contact centre

Development is a significant and growing part of our business. Construction is a natural extension of our drive to deliver excellence across the whole property asset lifecycle. Our current construction projects are centred in the north of the country with the intention to create further regional construction hubs throughout England. These programmes focus on specialisms like delivering value within small construction schemes, such as garage sites, alongside larger construction projects.
