Back to Round table

With Awaab’s Law set to reshape expectations across the housing sector, the question now is not whether organisations will adapt, but how quickly, consistently and effectively they can respond?

On 17 February, we host our first roundtable discussion of the year, where we will take a deep dive into the impact of Awaab’s Law. We will convene leaders from housing associations, councils, contractors, law firms and property specialists to share experiences of the implementation of the new legislation.

Chaired by Anna Clarke, Director of Policy & Public Affairs at The Housing Forum, an opening statement will be provided by Kerri Harrison, Partner at Devonshires and Kyle Foulds, Head of Assurance, Damp & Mould, Disrepair and Voids at Metropolitan Thames Valley, before participants discuss how organisations have prepared and responded; how systems and timescales are developing; and where they see both the biggest challenges and the greatest opportunity to improve efficiencies and outcomes.

Together, we can shape a more consistent, informed and effective sector-wide response to Awaab’s Law.

Registrations for this event are now closed. If you are interested in attending, please contact sandra.manning@housingforum.org.uk
