Working in partnership with Cambridge City Council
Our third Development Partnership in 2022 is focused on the growing City of Cambridge where working in partnership is delivering a wide range of innovative and sustainable housing. We are delighted to announce that the first speaker will be Councillor Lewis Herbert who will cover the City Council’s role and strategy in partnerships delivering new sustainable homes and communities plus future opportunities for Councils. The new settlement at Eddington will feature, and the Forum will conclude with a site tour of the Ironworks development – one of many housing opportunities made possible by the regeneration of the rail station area.
With the ever-pressing need for affordable quality homes and the decarbonisation challenges for the housing sector, The Housing Forum’s Development Partnership Forum in Cambridge (in person) on Wednesday 7 September 0930 – 1500 comes at key time for housing providers, local councils, sustainability and regeneration experts, manufacturers, and investors. The Forum will consider the challenges and opportunities for housing development and the City Council’s housing strategy.
The Forum will include a walking tour of nearby new urban housing developments in Mill Road, Cambridge. Presentations will include Master planning for the Cambridge station area, new developments at Eddington in North West Cambridge and latest developments in the Build to Rent offer.
Venue: Upper Hall, St Barnabas Church, Mill Road, Cambridge CB1 2BD (10 minutes walk from Cambridge train station).
