Back to Development Partnership Forums

With the ever-pressing need for affordable quality homes and the decarbonisation challenges for the housing sector, The Housing Forum’s Development Partnership Forums come at a key time for housing providers, local councils, sustainability and regeneration experts, manufacturers, and investors.

Working in partnership with Cambridge City Council, our third Development Partnership Forum (in person) on Wednesday 7 September 0930 – 1500 will be covering the range of partnerships led by the Council to provide new homes and communities in this ever-growing city.

The Forum will cover the City Council’s strategy and ambitions to meet net zero targets and provide efficient energy services  to its residents. We will hear from Councillor Lewis Herbert, former leader of the City Council on the Council’s role and strategy and from partners Carter Jonas and U +I. Housing Forum members calfordseaden, Hill, InSite Energy and Pollard Thomas Edwards will cover a range of developments in the City. Presentations will include Master planning for the Cambridge station area, new developments at Eddington in North West Cambridge and latest developments in the Build to Rent offer.

The Forum will include a walking tour of nearby new urban housing developments in Mill Road, Cambridge – the  Ironworks Development.

Venue: Upper Hall, St Barnabas Church, Mill Road, Cambridge CB1 2BD (10 minutes walk from Cambridge train station).
