The homes will be on a brownfield site purchased from Homes England
THF member Countryside Partnerships and social housing provider Together Housing Group have completed the purchase of the former Akzo Nobel site in Littleborough, Rochdale.
Having secured planning permission for the site in April, 126 new homes will now be built on the brownfield site, purchased from Homes England.
The new development will provide two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, including 14 shared ownership homes that will be managed by Together Housing Group, and five properties that will be sold under the Government’s First Homes scheme. Both the open market homes and the First Homes will be sold under the Bovis Homes brand (part of Vistry Group).
Work is expected to get under way this summer, with the first homes available in 2024.
Homes England was advised by THF member Trowers & Hamlins.
