The second Housing Forum Councils Network conference of the year took place against a backdrop of a stagnated housing market, high interest rates and an incredibly tough development market.

This conference looked at Homes England’s five-year strategic plan and what the agency has in store for the £16bn worth of funding, as well as providing an overview of how it works in London where the GLA oversees the programme and funding. The second half of the conference focused on making the best use of existing homes and freeing up family homes for overcrowded households.
