BM3 has submitted a planning application for affordable low-carbon homes
THF member BM3 has announced progress on a scheme for 31 low-carbon homes in Oxford.
Working with fellow THF member Oxford City Council’s housing company, OX Place, the architects firm has submitted a planning application to build the homes on Bertie Place recreation ground, a former landfill site which has been earmarked for housing development since 2013.
The development will be made up of 22 council homes let at social rent, and nine sold for shared ownership.
The council homes will be made up of 10 three-bed houses, 10 one-bed flats and 2 two-bed flats. The shared ownership homes will all be two-bed houses.
If planning permission is granted, work could start on the new homes in late 2023.
