This project was part of the Construction Legacy - Housing programme which sought to map approaches to the delivery of training and apprenticeships in the housing and regeneration sectors. The Housing Forum programme worked with 36 active Demonstration Projects in England and Wales. Up until March 2010, The Construction Legacy - Housing programme operated as a partnership between The Housing Forum and ConstructionSkills.

Braintree Housing Partnership

Three Registered Social Landlords, Countryside and Braintree District Council formed the partnership, which has expanded an initial development of 119 units into a programme of 350 units. The partnership brings together land owned by Braintree District Council, free land, four S106 agreements, Social Housing Grant, Local Authority Grant and private funding. The volume will now promote continuity and economies of scale.
